Nan's Place has been our family holiday home for over 40 years, and where we spent many happy childhood summers. Our kids did the same, and hopefully their children will too! Not only are the views exceptional, but they look over Corr Point, where my dad and his siblings were born and grew up. It really is a very special place to us, and we hope it will be the same for you.
We completely renovated the house in 2023 including all new plumbing and heating, windows and all fixtures and fittings, making it the luxury property it is now. In 2024 we decided to build a new connected house, Dune View.
Although both properties operate as separate holiday rentals with their own driveways, parking, outside space and all amenities, there is an interconnecting soundproof door that we can unlock, if requested, to allow free-flowing movement between both properties, should this be required. There is also a large hallway area between the two main living areas of the two properties to ensure no noise disturbance. Nan's Place
Nan's Place is a fabulous, newly renovated bungalow with breathtaking views and a large veranda, located on the Wild Atlantic Way in Lettermacaward, Co Donegal. Whether you are looking for somewhere to relax and get away from it all or a perfect base to explore all of Donegal's rugged beauty, Nan's Place is the ideal spot for both.
- 3 bedrooms (2 x kingsize, 1 x Bunkbeds with double on the bottom and single on the top). A sofa bed and travel cot are available on request for additional children.
- Main shower room with w/c, basin and a large walk-in shower. Also, a second w/c for convenience.
- Open plan kitchen. dining and living room. Kitchen with new top-of-the-range AEG and Siemens appliances, a large dining table (seats 10), L-shaped designer sofa, TV with Netflix, Fast Wi-fi, Wood burning stove (and lots of other features).
- Terrace with eating area and lounge chairs with stunning views over the Gweebara Bay.

Dune View is our brand new, stunning holiday rental. Attached to Nan's Place but operating as an independent two-bedroom holiday rental.
- 2 Double bedrooms - 1 x kingsize and 1 x superking (which can be split into 2 singles). One bedroom also has a single foldout sofa bed, suitable for a child, if required.
- Bathroom with large freestanding bath, rainfall shower, w/c and basin.
- Open Plan kitchen, dining, and living room. The kitchen is fitted with top-of-the-range appliances and a cooking station on the kitchen island. The dining table seats four, or can be extended to sit 6 if required.
- We have a record player, large collection of Vinyl, CD's, Blu Rays and Books.
- There is also an outside area at the back of the house with seating.

The Area
Farragans is a small hamlet in the parish of Lettermacaward (Leitir). It is the only dead-end road in Leitir, making it very peaceful. The views are outstanding, and many guests love nothing more than relaxing and watching the ever-changing landscape of the beautiful Gweebara Bay.
We are (approx. driving times)..
- 8 mins to the glorious Dooey Beach (with Sauna, Rockpools and seasonal surf lessons).
- 5 mins to Elliots Bar, where you will often find traditional music on a Friday evening.
- 5 mins to McCafferty's Bar and restaurant, where you will find an extensive menu, events (check Facebook page), and screens for sporting events.
- 5 mins Gallagher's shop for local goods and bike hire.
